Dev-log (8/26/2021)


New tutorial level 

  • Tutorial level is default level loaded into the game. 
  • Option at the start to skip to main level. 

Implemented main objective 

  • Main objective is to tag (spray paint) all locations in the area. 

Player Animations 

  • Arms no longer stay up while not crouched. 
  • Tuned the mantle animation so it is faster. 
  • Added sprinting animation. 

Wall climbing 

  • Added wall jumping so the player can chain wall jumps together. 
  • Can also jump off a wall while sliding down. 
  • Player can now slide down walls which slows their fall speed. 
  • Made player side movement lock when climbing to prevent slippery feeling. 

Disabled teleport ability

Bug Fixes and tweaks 

  • Added check to ensure player can’t climb walls >90 degrees. 
  • Fixed a bug that caused two enemy UI bars to be shown. 
  • Changed default FOV to 80. 
  • Made wall climbing slower and shorter height. 
  • Changed font from default font to one that looks like spray paint. 
  • Player run and walk speed are now slower.
