Character Controller Overhaul 

 

Sliding: 

  • Massively overhauled sliding to include information from the slope being slid on. 
  • Speed now changes depending on the angle of the slope. 
  • Slide time now changes depending on the angle of the slope. Can slide infinitely if the slope is angled enough. 
  • Can jump off slope and continue momentum. 
  • Will return to sliding from any state as long as the speed is fast enough and is sliding. 

 

Wall Climbing 

  • Should now finally be fixed after many failed attempts. 
  • Should smoothly move player up a surface. 
  • Pushes player back to adjust for uneven surfaces. 
  • Cannot climb if it is blocked above the head. 

 

Mantling 

  • Should no longer get stuck at the edge of a wall or surface. 
  • Smoothly lifts player up over any ledge. 

 

Wall Run 

  • Fixed a bug where the second wall run attempt would count as a wall jump and force the player away. 
  • Wall runs should be smoother overall.
