Dev-log (9/16/2021)


New City Level 

  • Large new level the player can explore with objectives and collectible money. 
    • Background jazz music included. 

New Money System 

  • The player can now find money around the map that will allow them to buy things to reach new areas.

New Parkour Objects. 

  • Air vents can be found that will give the player a big jump upwards. 
    • Some air vents are broken but can be fixed with money collected. 
  • Ziplines are in the game and can be used to take the player across large gaps. 
    • Locks player camera movement so they cannot turn around while on zipline. 
    • Player can jump off and reattach while falling. 
    • Zipline resets to start point after a short while. 
  • Purchasable billboards can be found that will enable a wall run opportunity. 

Removed Industrial Level 

  • Industrial level did not fit the look of the game. 

Bug Fixes and Tweaks 

  • Wall climbing past small lips would not always work correctly, this should be fixed now. 
  • Wall running doesn’t take the player up as much. 
  • Changed the default font for the game to improve visual appeal. 
  • Changed graffiti look from a simple sprite to unique text. 
  • Changed zoom from toggle to hold control.
